Disaster! It's a pre lit one, and it's been stored in the shed outside, rigged it up today and it stinks to high hell of cat wee :-(
Tried febreeze, which masked it a bit - what else can i do, or is it doomed!
Thanx for any replies

There's a very good spray that you can buy in Pets At Home or similar which does get rid of the smell of cat wee.

Sort of like this

I'd give that a go, and if it didn't work then I'd get rid of it tbh.

You can buy stuff from the vets to neutralise the smell of cat pee.

you could take the lights off it, put it outside, and give it a good spray with persil liquid and water from a garden sprayer, then hose off, and leave it outside (preferably in the sun) to dry off

Hate to tell you this but are you sure it is cat's wee and not rat's wee? We got ours down from our loft recently and it REEKED and we have had rats in the roof, the smell was similar to cat's wee.
