3D TV - worth getting?

DH has seen a 3D tv which he thinks we 'need', I'm not convinced it will be worth it yet as there's only one 3D channel at the mo... If you have one do you use the 3d? Thanks

I don't have one my my BIL is crazy about this kind of stuff and says they are all pants and to wait until the technology is developed a bit more.

DH bought one a few weeks ago, an dI thought it would be really crap but it's quite a lot of fun.
