Water marks on wall

Anyone know how to cleanser rid off these? They are on my downstairs loo wall, unfortunately walls are not tiled, just painted and there are loads of streaky marks running down the wall beside where the towel holder is.

I think you have to repaint to get rid of them. Sorry!

you can have a go with a bathroom spray that removes soap and limescale. After a while it will take the paint off, if it is emulsion. The water marks are probably from lime.

If you are really lucky it will just be soap and you can sponge it off and dry with a soft cloth.
