I have tried 1001, which is my most trusty product, my right hand man, if you will.
I have used vanish carpet cleaner, which was rubbish and just bought the new vanish powder which you shake all over the floor, leave for 20 minutes and hoover. This is supposed to make your carpet 5 shades whiter.. so it have probably made my stain less obvious yes.. but the whole living room is brighter so it still looks just as obvious! BAH, help! I am a woman in need, DH keeps going 'what's that?' and I remain oblivious. I AM THE TEA SPILLER!!

what if the tea stain is on a green carpet as somebody I have also spilt tea on the carpet and I'm hiding it with the baby gym!

haha skinny, I have put a rug over it for now!

no I havent tried Ace, where would that be?

Washing powder aisle or savers or homebargains.

I think it's an oxygen bleach as opposed to chlorine so it is wool and silk safe and wont bleach the colour out of fabrics.

Borrow a Vax and pre-treat with the Vax detergent before giving it a really good wash with the machine. Make sure the water is quite hot. Polti steam cleaners are also good at getting stains out of carpets.
