..this is so sad but I know some of you will care/be interested!

Just used one of those descaler sachets from lakeland (cost approx £2.90 for 3 sachets) and it is MARVELLOUS.

My kettle is like new and it only took 25 mins!

As you were.

I use white vinegar, far cheaper and works just as well.
