Anyone have trouble finding things at home?

I can't find my library card. The other day we couldn't find the instructions for the clock chimes - they turned up when I was looking for library card.
We just always have things disappear into some sort of "Black hole"
And when we are looking for one thing something else will turn up.

I try to be organised but seem to be failing as things always get lost.

Anyone else have this problem?

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Yes, we joke we have a poltergeist. DD lost her mobile phone, couldn't find it for 2 days, cancelled the sim card as she thought it must have been stolen, only to find it in her jacket pocket. Now she can't use it as the sim is blocked.
I lost my bluetak the other day. It disappeared while we wer etalking about the ghost moving stuff. It was underneath the stapler I had just bought. The stapler was still there, where I left both of them. It has yet to turn up.
