Mr Muscle shower spray - what am I doing wrong?

Have followed the instructions, spray after using the shower and it hasn't made any difference. In fact the shower door looks worse, all smeary and cloudy. Any tips?

I would say its ok at keeping lime scale almost at bay, but can't compare with a proper clean each time the shower is used.

I have found it not to work unless you use massive quantities.
I have taken to spending a few minutes squeegeeing the shower after every use
