Stain devils

Do they actually work ? Discovered there was a ballpoint pen in my White wash!! Hubby's two shirts have nice big marks on them. Obviously stain has been set now with a nice hot wash ughhh !! Wondering if stain devil would work?

Right I would put bleach in a spray bottle and spray it on liberally both side of the cloth. If its going to work it will start to fade straight away then you can wash again.

Ball point ink can be quite greasy as well so washing up liquid may work if applied neat to both sides, I have used hairspray before on ink stains but then I read it can also set the stain.

Failing that, try colour run remover.

To be honest I have used stain removers before and not found them brilliant. I got curry out of a coloured top once using washing up liquid and thats the hardest stain to get out.
