Neff dishwasher beeps - anyone know how to turn them off?

At the end of the cycle, my dishwasher beeps and beep and beeps - it is so loud and inappropriate for a dishwasher. It's only the end of a cycle!

We inherited the machine when we bought the house, so we have no instruction manual and we cannot find anything online. Does anyone else have the same problem and has anyone been able to switch them off. It drives us nuts!

I just switch mine off when it starts to beep (I find it handy because I know when it's finished). My washing machine beeps at the end of its cycle too . Sorry no advice how to stop it beeping though.

find the model number please. You can usually download the instruction manual from the manufacturer's website.

Would also like to know answer to this...if anyone knows, please please post as it drives me nuts....

Oh I could have written this! Drives me nuts too - we also inherited ours. Mine is a Miele though - and i have the instruction manual, so am enormously grateful for your post as it has persuaded me to do something about the damn thing instead of swearing every time :)

Would like to know how to do this for my bosch washing machine! Drives me round the bend - why do manufacturers think we need machines beeping all the time!!!

I've never had an appliance I couldn't get an online manual for - have you tried searching by model number on the neff website?

Eureka!!!! I have just managed it!!! I cant seem to copy and paste today but googled, followed Advice from Pete and looks like it works

I switched my beep off the other day as I was sick of shouting "open the dishwasher" from upstairs - it seems I'm the only one that can hear it!!!

I'm so glad it's not just us. And yes, we've put up with it for 2 years as well - but I'm 37 weeks pregnant and decided I couldn't leap up off the sofa like I used to to switch it off. So I HAVE to do something.

Girliefriend - we too have a Bosch washing machine! That also beeps and beeps and beeps. Sometimes we have them in sync which is nice for the ears!

Try this fix from the manual. Button A is the glass symbol. You need b00 to turn the sound off. Press start to save it. Hope it works for you. T
