Grouting

I really do need to tackle the manky grouting in the bathroom! It is the bits around the bath - they have gone crumbly and discoloured. I don't fancy the plastic stuff (that you can pick off). Is using the plaster-like stuff a horror?

do you mean the actual grout between tiles or the bath sealant?

The bit between the bath and the tiles. It isn't that stringy plastic stuff that you can peel off - it looks like white plaster.

Whatever you do, choose something mould resistant. Some arse made a hash of their makeshift repairs to the grouting in our shower, and even a toothbrush scrubbing, with neat bleach, fails to shift it! Angry

We have managed to be mould free, which is amazing considering we don't have a window in there!

Wow. I'm very impressed. That sounds sad, but mould is very nasty, so keeping it at bay is a big deal!
