Rusty Marks

Does anyone know how to get rust marks off wire/metal shower caddys. I have tried cilit bang but its not working.

The rust marks on my shower caddy are proper rust rather than marks. I think we will have to replace it.

You can buy a rust removing acid called Jenolite at motorist's toyshops like Halfords. Don't buy other brands because they are usually pastes which stabilise the rust and prepare it for painting, which is not what you need.

If it is a surface that the acid would run off, soak a bit of kitchen roll and flop it onto the mark so it sticks. Rinse off afterwards.

Gloves, skin and eye protection required.
