Soda crystals - what can I do with them?

I bought some because I read somewhere on here I could clean my washing machine with them - but how?

Is there anything else I can use them for?

They're good for cleaning burnt pans. You tip some into the pan with boiling water and leave to soak.

I gad a thread about this a couple of weeks through but can't link in my iPhone. Scroll through good housekeeping and you'll find it I was given lots of handy tips.

allyour I have some burnt on fat on my frying pan, I could try it on that. Are you sure it won't hurt my non-stick?
