I can't remember when we last washed our bedding! Blush

I normally do it every other week on account of us wearing pjs, showering at least twice a day (and having very little sex!) but the past few weeks have been hectic and i really can't remember when they were last washed! Oh goodness how minging am i???

That reminds me . . . .

VeryStressedMum · 16/11/2011 00:40

Don't bother to change the bed until you start getting bitten by bugs, it will be fine, a bit of dead skin cells and sweat and bacteria never hurt anyone Grin

auntyfash · 16/11/2011 00:42

I'm more shocked at you showering at least twice a day when you've not even had sex tbh. Perhaps losing the pyjamas would help in that department?

countessbabycham · 16/11/2011 00:43

Soon be time to smother yourself in goose fat and stitch yourself into your underwear for the Winter anyway......Grin

ChippingInNeedsSleep · 16/11/2011 00:45

LOL @AuntyFash!

AuntieMaggie - that's minging. Change them tomorrow!! (today!)

However, I used to do ski seasons, some of the staff wouldn't change their sheets the entire 6 month season..... bleurgh.

startail · 16/11/2011 01:07

No idea either. Yet another of those housework jobs that can wait till tomorrow.

AuntieMaggie · 16/11/2011 08:34

LOL @ you lot :O

I'll get DP to change them today I promise...

I shower before work and after work most days due to a sweaty trek to and from work and if I go to a class in the evening after that too...

We are mingin in this house...sheets get changed the first night I get in them and think...hmm need to change the sheets! Be it 2 days...or 2 months!
(whispers my cleaner goes and gets clean linen and changes the kids sheets when she thinks I haven't done them for ages!!!!)
Why do sheets need cleaning until they are dirty.....

ChippingInNeedsSleep · 18/11/2011 00:19

Jendot - because you sweat (everyone does), shed skin cells, body oils etc in them everynight! Just because you can't see the dirt it doesn't mean they aren't dirty!!

AuntyMaggie - did DP you change them Grin

AuntieMaggie · 18/11/2011 12:44

No Blush but tomorrow I promise!

I was thinking this as I got into bed last night....

TBF it's hard to dry them atm Blush

Mandy2003 · 18/11/2011 20:33

Try a set of black sheets - THEN you'd know!!

I bought one once years ago, desperate for pure cotton sheets, and I chucked it after 2 days

But I do have very dry skin.
