Pyrex or something else?

My big Pyrex casserole dish has smashed (thanks dh) so I need a new one.

Do I get another Pyrex? This one chipped like mad and has not been a great buy.
Are there any other alternatives that will do the same jobs?
Would love le cruset but too £££ for me.

TIA :)

Pyrex used to be the big brand, but there are lots of others now. They are all made of the same heat-resistant material (I have an idea it is borosilicate glass)

I find they go dull and cloudy in the dishwasher so wouldn't buy an expensive brand. Own-brand in a supermarket will be just as good.

I got a wonderful Chasseur cast iron casserole from the wonderful TK Maxx - it should have cost about £70, but I only paid £30! I cannot recommend a cast iron pan enough - they literally last for ever.
