I really mean to do the jobs but then I sit at the computer with MN and well.......

Does anyone else come on here and think - oh just a few minutes - and then find that the time has just gone and you've gotten nothing done?? Like er...ironing! I've really got to go and get it done.......!!!!!!

Yes, some days I do! I think it's because I spend so much time with no adult company during the week, it's like this is a way of "talking" to other people.

Happens to me far too many times. Like Blackcat, I think it makes up for the lack of adult company but it doesn't really.

Been home from school run an hour and a half and have managed to make breakfast and switch the laptop on so far

another culprit here too,have written a jobs list (long) & all I have done so far is school run,walk dog & eat breakfast

Me too - MN, email, facebook, twitter, news etc can easily eat up a whole day an hour or two. Resolution for this week: set kitchen timer for 10-15 minutes computer time then go and do something else for half an hour, then another timed computer session etc. I'll see how it goes...

yeesssss.... but I've had a quite exhausting weekend ferrying DC around places, I feel like I need the week days to recover!

I'm here again loitering!
Started off well then stopped for lunch and that's it. I can't seem to get going again.
I blame my cold that I have.
