i was given a dishwasher. I have lost the manual and am wondering the best way to clean it . I have pulled put the filets and washed them and the inside. I have also run it on a hot wash empty. Is there anything else I should be doing

Not really. You can get a special dishwash cleaner - Finish do one, Aldi occasionally sells its own brand one much cheaper which you run through on the hottest wash - it supposedly cleans all the pipes and stuff. Don't forget the bit around the outside of the door - that tends to get pretty gunky.

I mean around the edge of the door, but on the inside iykwim.

My Aldi had some of that special cleaner in yesterday. I think you may be able to do a similar effect by running it on a hot was with some white vinegar ( but don't sue me if it dissolves your machine or something Confused as I'm not 100% certain on that one!!)

hot wash, not hot was!!

I was wondering about soda crystals as they seam to work with everything else. Or would I end up with suds everywhere

Well Kim and Aggie suggest soda crystals or a cup of vinegar for a washing machine, so probably okay with a dishwasher too.

I put soda crystals in mine and run it empty on the hottest wash.
