Fear of my combination oven!

I have had a combination oven for four months now and still haven't worked out what it is really for. We just use it for heating stuff up in the microwave.

If you have one, what do you use the combination features for?

have you got the instruction book?

Yes, but I've read it twice and it is soooo complicated. Written in double dutch as well. I need to know what people use the damn thing for. The kitchen designers said I would find it a "Godsend", so I'd like to know why!!

I would not be without my combi oven.I use the jacket pot seting all the time which uses the microwave with convection & makes perfect jackets in about 12ish mins (size dependant).I also use the convection as an extra oven when doing a big meal.I have cooked all sorts in there,esp when you have extras that just won't fit in the main oven when full.

Now jacket potato is just what I was thinking of using it for. What settings, pretty please?
