How to salvage my dress

I bought this dress not long ago which I LOVE and looks fabulous to wear to work

www.oasis-stores.com/Colourblock-Stripe-Ponte-Dress/Dresses/oasis/fcp-product/3170091005

However even upon their advice of washing at 40c the black has run into the white and turned it a horrid muddy grey and basically ruined the dress. The reviews of this dress on the Oasis website report it happening to 4 other people. I wasn't sure afterwards though if the colour run was my fault as I noticed the label said to use non-bio only and I realised the M&S colour detergent I'd bought was bio.

Either way, am trying to find if there is ANY way at all of salvaging this dress and getting the white areas to return to actually white.

Any advice appreciated :) I was thinking of re-buying the dress but then dont want to if its just going to happen again. I might buy it again and then just dry clean only.
