Cleaning burnt on fat off a frying pan

Just washed up the frying pan & noticed that there's some burnt on fat around the rivets for the handles Do you have any suggestions on how I can get them off?

leave it to soak in boiling water and washing powder ! this sd do the trick.

Soak it in bio washing powder & hot water, then use an old toothbrush on the problem area.

Put it through the dishwasher, then scrub it as soon as it finishes (the heat loosens the burnt stuff but it still needs wiping off).
That's how I got the roasting tin from dark brown/black to totally White! I'd forgotten it was originally White.

Thanks! I'll have to try the dishwasher first as I don't have any bio washing powder in the house!
