in a quandary over whether to buy a new washing machine. Mine works but is over ten years old. It stinks and a hot wash is a no no as seriously it takes about two and half hours to do a hot wash. The Quick Wash spin doesn't, well, spin.
I do need a new one don't I
trying to justify myself here!

Yes you need a new water and energy effiecent (sp) one.

You will SAVE money in the long run. I found appliancesonline.co.uk very good for my dishwasher, much cheaper.

done it! Got another Hotpoint (I like Hotpoint) £429 at Currys but on web offer at £289. A for energy efficiency - has to be more economical in the long run. Mind made up especially as last energy bill electricity v high.

Can I ask - for that price, what do they charge to deliver and take the old one away?

I am about to make a similar move!
