Erm, never and never

never and never, but have been debating carpet cleaning in dining room ( filthy after toddler meals). wonder if I should wait til after potty training though!

My carpet is a total nightmare. Bought wool and light coloured. It is the thing I hate most about my life.

Water stains it, everything else stains it, we've even had a bit replaced which now looks awful as you can see the join.

I use vanish cream on it every week, and get the pros in when I can afford it.

I'm considering claiming a replacement on insurance as to top it off I split a can of fizzy drink (orange coloured on it) and it will not budge. I'm just nervous about making a claim even though it is totally genuine.

Rant over!

Curtains never unless covered in cornflakes and then just a wipe down.

Oh ok...

We've just moved into a new house and it has very light coloured carpets, I washed them all except the hallway (as i ran out of time) when we first moved in) and i've done emergency cleans on various spots since. I was thinking of cleaning them once a year or twice?
Again the curtains were all done, when we moved in (she smoked), so was thinking once a year to keep them fresh'ish :S
