Hi. I have a very expensive Polti vacuum/steam cleaner, given to me by my MIL who was shocked by the state of the house about 5 years ago. By now various bits have dropped off and it no longer sucks. I would like to getit repaired but live in the countryside where our local vacuum cleaner repairers won't touch it. Online I found Direct Electricals who would charge £109 to collect it, repair and service it. Has anyone ever tried this? Does it sound reasonable? I was sort of hoping to have it repaired and back in a couple of days - that doesn't sound likely.
