Refreezing food

This may be a stupid question but...if food has started to thaw because freezer door left open, do I need to throw all food out or leave to refreeze? The door was open for a few hours

If it's raw then you need to cook it before you can refreeze it. If it was already cooked and then frozen then you need to cook it and to eat it, sorry.
