Grease on silk

I've also put this under S&B but think that the GH will have a stain guru amongst you. I need help removing grease stains from silk. I have done a gentle wash in the machine, and also a hand wash, and the marks are still there.

Does anyone have any tips?

Its a nightmare! Have you tried cool iron over kitchen towel?

I haven't tried on silk but have used washing up liquid in other fabrics with great success.

Rub some washing up liquid into stain, leave for a few minutes then wash the item.
