i can't remember what I'm supposed to use, is it bicarb of soda or soda crystals or vinegar or something else entirely?! I remember having these little sachets to de-scale the steam steriliser but I can't remember what they were... Any ideas please?

heat some water in the kettle, add a pint of white vinegar and leave (over night), just rinse and done.
those sachets work as well, but be carefull, they fizz when tipping them into the hot water.

Oohh thanks mousy, I have some special strength cleaning vinegar so will use that! And remember to rinse it out before DH goes to make a cuppa Wink
