Reed Diffusers

Has anyone made their own? Not sure if i should be using fragrance oils or essential oils. And can anyone recommend any nice smelly mixes. I just bought a cheap one from Tesco but i cant even sense the slightest whiff

Watching this one, as so far, I've found cheap doesn't deliver.

I tend to agree echt but I did find a Black Fig one in Sainsbury's that certainly was strong. I liked the smell but DH didn't so he can't wait until it is finished. Nearly there, just bought a L'Occitane one today to replace it with. I have no idea what you need to make your own.

I've bunged the reeds in unwanted perfume bottles before - that worked beautifully. If not - ebay has brand name diffusers cheaper than high street.
