deep clean or light clean?

I'm trying to get Dh to let me have a cleaner, we currently pay mil to do the ironing but tbh it only takes 2 hrs a week and I think a cleaner would be much better and I'll do the ironing instead.
Would you say its better to have one once a month and do a deep clean and then I just keep on top of it in-between or get them to come each week for a normal clean? Or will I soon detest ironing and wish I just had cleaning to do instead?

I have a cleaner 2 hours a week and I love her. I tidy everything so her 2 hours are spent properly cleaning iykwim.

She does all light cleaning and then deep cleans 1 room each week.

We have a standard 3 bed semi so not huge.

She also does ironing although not for us.

I only have to do top up cleaning during the week and the house always feels much cleaner than when I used to do it. Go for it!
