my 8 year old wedding dress has got all crushed.
I need to box up the top (corset style) should i stuff it with bubble wrap and put in a plastic ikea box - was thinking of putting muslin over it?
The skirt has got all crushed have re hung it inside out and taken of the heavy under layers.
I don't live in uk so can't send to a specialist place and don't trust the dry cleaners here.
worried it will get creases that never come out or go a funny colour.
Thanks for any advise

i bought a proper dress box for my dress, i folded the dress and put a layer of tissue paper inbetween each layer of the dress so that material doesn't touch material. the main thing is that whatever you wrap and put the dress in had to be acid free as i've been told that this is what damages the dress.

Thanks yes I knew there was something but couldn't remember what. I will google wedding dress box and see if I can get one next time I am in UK.
