Do what hotels do. White towels, bathrobes and white bed linen are the only way to go. That way you can put them all in the wash together without worrying about colours. It saves us a lot of hassle.

John Lewis have a good range although we have got some Dunelm Mills ones at half the price and just about as good.

Ikea do a hot pink and grey towels. Whilst normally I'm a bit of a textile snob we got a pile when we moved and they've been fine.

I really like IKEA towels because they aren't too thick. They do the job well and wash and dry very quickly. They also have great colours. (plus they are cheap). I much prefer them to the thick expensive ones I bought in John Lewis.
