Removing cheery lip balm from a dark cream carpet

HI,

Wondered if anyone had any good ideas for removing cherry lip balm spots from a dark cream carpet. DD1 somehow stood in a stick and wandered all round our bedroom leaving a trail of cherry coloured dots in her path....

I have tried the Vanish carpet foam and it has removed some of them but we still have about 10 spots, just can't decide what to try next or what to avoid so I don't make it worse. Any suggestions?

Thank you

My cleaner swears by ordinary wet wipes and I have been amazed what they will clean out of carpets etc when all else has failed so it might be worth a go.

Has made me wonder what they put in wet wipes and whether I should be merrily cleaning up DCs faces with them!

These carpet wipes from Lakeland are good, and have removed every stain I've tried them on, including shoe polish.

Agree with Lakeland advice, they seem to have a lot of miracle working potions that others swear by

Thanks for suggestions, off to check the cupboard to see which Lakeland stain removers are in there.
