This is the most dull topic I have ever posted - what's the best floor mop?

I need a new floor mop - mainly for large, tiled kitchen floor. It gets filthy so I think I need one with a scrubby bit on. I had a Vileda Magic Mop but that has a small head so took ages - switched to a bigger Vileda but that one leaves weird marks on the floor as the water dries... I hear talk of steam mops but have no idea what they're like (or even what they're meant for).

Anybody got a mop they love?!

The E cloth mop says it doesn't need anything other than water. But is it really going to clean without detergent? I mean reeeaaallly? Cross-your-heart-and-hope-to-die?

Its ok with just water on my wooden floors but I always use just a squirt of something nice for the kitchen floor where there are milk spills etc.

How was is PassTheTwiglets? My mop needs sounds similar to yours - big tiled kitchen floor (rough surface not shiny smooth), baby chucking food everywhere me too lazy to clean very often
I was thinking I might have to get down on hands and knees with a scrubbing brush so would be delighted to hear the E cloth mop works on 3 week old dried on gunk

Also keep to hear how you got on twiglets I have been eyeing up a steam mop but after this thread am reconsidering!
