Odd socks

I'm looking for ideas for where to keep odd socks. The other day I was googling and found something like this www.ecrater.com/p/1033574/personalized-embrodiery-basket-liner but they were nicer and were shown in a utility room.

Anyone any ideas where I can find them, or an idea of where you keep yours???

I keep mine on a shelf in the spare room. These boxes are similar.

Not sure, I'm thinking maybe 'odd socks' or maybe 'odds and sods' or maybe DH name as then I can put the other things he leaves in his pockets in there two...

Why would you keep odd sock? Just make a sock monkey!

Coz often they are really odd, I just drop them on the way to the washing machine :S

I throw away odd socks. It's a sure fire way of finding the other one.

I have a basket I keep by the machine, where i fold my laundry. My kids are capable of leaving socks all over the house, and rarely leave both socks in the same place. I occasionally count the socks for fun, but stop once I get over 100.

Who would want 100 sock puppets?

I encourage the girls to wear odd socks when they have wellies on. Trouble is that means the matching sock isn't in the basket when its partner turns up.

French - yes this is what I intend to do with this basket.

I just stick odd socks in the appropriate person's sock drawer and then fold the 2 together when they both arrive in there!

I have an odd sock sock in each person's drawer. All odd socks get put in it and then get paired up as and when I find its mate.

Odd socks in person's drawer works unless it goes in the wrong person's drawer :). My dd has now thankfully reverted back to pink sockettes as the blue ones were often to be found in her brother's drawer.
