steaming blinds

Does anyone know of a handheld steamer/vacuum thingy that would work on
huge venetian blinds. I've inherited 9 in my new house!

The problem with steaming anything that's a bit grubby is that it turns dust into mud. I have tried steaming my shutters but it's very messy and not effective. Now I vacuum with the Dyson soft dusting brush on both closed sides. If venetians are particularly grubby I know people put them in a bath to clean them.

Thanks for answering, mine are too big for the bath and too tall to get the hoover to reach the top. Hey ho.

Stand them up in the shower? Use a bucket of water with something like Flash floor liquid and a cloth/sponge that holds a lot of water and scrub them down, then rinse with shower head.
