Dog Wee

Am looking after my parents dog, who delightfully decided to wee on DDs carpet yesterday. I've scrubbed the area clean but the smell persists - any ideas please? Her room smells awful.

Apparently sprinkling bicarb of soda on the smelly area should work?

bilogical washing liquid/well-dissolved powder will get rid of the smell completely.
