How to get cigarette smoke out of jeans?

I have bought the most gorgeous pair of jeans from eBay. Unfortunately they stink of fags . I've washed them in the machine on a normal wash but they still stink.

Good old Google suggests vinegar? Would this be correct?

I don't know about vinegar. But bicarbonate soda should do the trick. It's very good for removing odors.

Yes it worked! Threw in a load and washed them alone, now whiff free thanks!
