best deodorant for the toilet?

i keep telling DH to OPEN the window after using the (only) bathroom, sometimes he remembers, sometimes he doesn't. I'm pregnant and really hate having to go into the smelly toilet.
What do you have in your toilet to make it smell fresh?

Get him to light a match.

Dettol ok, thanks. I´m going to the supermarket to try to smell those two. The thing with the match is that the children cannot do it... I wish I had a toilet for myself :P

Tell him to put a bit of toilet cleaner in the loo before he goes. Really helps.

Marrow is correct, the match thing works a treat.

We have our bathroom window all the time, come rain or shine, specifically to avoid this! 3rd floor flat though with no safety issues - appreciate it might not work for everyone.
