it's stuck completely.
i've taken apart all the pieces but the stuck bit is in the bendy tube.

i decided it would be quicker to run the hoover along the window sill than use a duster and the whole thing shot up the hoover before i could stop it.

it's a rented house (not our blinds) and the removals men left an hour ago with everything but the hoover, some cushions and my laptop.
i do have scissors, a screwdriver, some rollerblades and lots of tiny pieces of lego.

It's the best place for it.
That'll learn you for doing housework at this ungodly hour.

all is well again. i performed a procedure similar to a laparotomy i once observed. i squeezed the tube until i could find the blockage (the big sort of tag on the end of the cord) then sort of manipulated it very carefully as it was jammed tight and nearly making a hole in the tube.
