Can ski clothes just be put in a normal wash?

that's it really - I have a suitcase full of ski outfits and they don't seem to have any washing instructions. It's been sitting in my room for a month now Blush

They CAN be, but if you use normal detergents then you will reduce the waterproof nature of the garment.

It's best to wash them in something like 'Tech Wash' and then also rinse/ rewash them with re-proofing liquid. Millets do their own 'Peter Storm' version which is a bit cheaper than the branded stuff.

If the clothes are really dirty you can wash them in pure soap flakes (need to melt them in hot water first) then reproof....

They aren't very dirty at all. Is it better to just leave them? Or is that disgusting?

I guess it depends... I don't tend to wash ours if we've only worn them for 2-3 days, but I would after a week of skiing, as we will have been a bit hot and sweaty in them at times Confused
