How many programms do you actually use because I seem to always use the same colour/white cottons at 40 degrees and a cotton 60 for towels and bedding. I just realised my new "high tech" (not reallySmile)washing mashine is wasted on meGrin

I think what we really need is a robot to correctly sort the washing into, synthetics, delicates, easy care, woolens etc. and then all the programmes would get used. I always feel apprehensive if i put a cotton wash on, in case something isn't cotton, or all cotton. But yes 40 deg easy care or 60 easy care all the way.

I use
cotton 90 (about twice a year when i refresh my washing machine)
cotton 60 (bed linen / towels)
cotton 40 (most stuff)
cotton 40 eco (when in rush)
cotton 30 (for the odd thing that i darent wash at 40)
quick wash (for a few bits when they arnt really dirty at all)

wool for wool stuff Wink

Yes to the robot because I find it a chore enough to empty peoples pocket so would definitely not enjoy checking the fabrics of every single item!Blush

i always use cotton as the spin is faster and the clothes come out slightly dryer.

but our machine is only 1200 spin so not that fast compared to others
