How to descale my microwave steriliser?

i have a tommee tippee microwave steriliser. It's getting a bit rough which I'm guessing is lime scale.

How do I descale it?
Is it a vinegar job?

just pour in some vingar and leave it.

You could warm it slightly but ONLY slightly.... DO NOT let it boil or steam cause the smell of vinegar steam is just so unbelievably disgusting. (I found out when i stuck vinegar in the kettle and boiled it to speed the reaction time never EVER again!)

Will do that overnight as steriliser is not in use then.
