Autograph on rugby shirt?

Hi,
My DS has been at a Rugby Summer Camp and has been given a rugby shirt for attending. It's been signed by two top players in black marker. It's 100% polyester. Is there something I can spray on it to stop the autographs washing off?

I don't know of anything that would make the pen indelible if it wasn't an indelible pen to start with. But also I wouldn't have thought you're supposed to wash autographed items, maybe just get it framed to keep it and then buy him a new rugby shirt to wear!? Having said that, if you accidentally got pen on the rugby shirt you could bet your life that it wouldn't wash out, so maybe you can wash it!

It won't wash off- we have various signed shirts (one of which about 5 years old) and signature still there

That's good to hear Gastonladybird as he really wants to wear it. I'll just have to take the chance with it.
