Musty smelling buggy - how to remove the smell!

Its a maclaren so machine washed it first with washing powder and then with Napisan but there is still an odour. MIL left it folded soaking wet at her house when she had DS for the afternoon. When we got it back for DD it was covered in mould! Mould is all gone as a result of washing/scrubbing but there is still a smell. Not sure if mouldy smell is bad for DD but either way don't want her smelling like she has been at Glastonbury everytime I lift her out of the buggy! I know there is Dettox mould and mildew remover which is my last resort (chemicals are probably worse). Has soaking in white vinegar worked for anyone? Will bleach take out the colour (it is black)? At the moment it is wrapped in a bag full of cat litter (clean!) as figured that might be easier than baking soda to try to absorb smell out. Think it is more in the plastic bit lining the fabric if you see what I mean.

I would not touch the bleach at all, that is quite harsh. I would try the bicarbonate of soda minus the vinegar. Then you could wash the cover again . Failing that i would leave it outside to air for a while to see if that helps.

I was going to suggest bicarb as well, you could mix it into a paste and really rub it in or just pour it over.
