I have a red one, and scrub it with a fairly dilute solution of washing powder every so often. It's also quite faded, which makes it look less clean than it should be.

Aparrently you can take the covers off and soak in the bath, but I have never worked out how to do this.

You can take the cover off. Used to do it for customers with faulty ones. I can't remember exactly how. You need a screwdriver and I think the handle had to come off and you had to part folded. But can't remember for sure. Play around with it.

my buggy doesn't have removable covers. i used bio liquid in warm water and scrubbed. then hosed it down in the garden. took ages to dry though.
it looks fab now and it even took off the factor 50+ stains! :)
