patches for hole in knee of trousers

My DS has got another hole in a pair of trousers - any recommendations for patches

I save old pairs of trousers and use them to patch the latest pairs!

If it is the knees that are going, try iron on patches on the inside of the trousers. It reinforces the fabric and holds together any fraying.
