Help! Have I ruined my favourite pants?

Have just unloaded washer and realised that I have put in my favourite French connection trousers on a 40 degree was and they are dry clean only. They are 70% viscose and 30% acrylic. They are still damp so can't really assess the damage yet. Are they ruined?

Not sure about your trousers but I did once put a handwash only top in with bedding (really hot wash) & it was fine!
