Smelly Miele vacum

My vacum pongs each time i use it, do not want to put shake & vac down (wooden floors) but what can i use ? It smells dusty, stale. The bag is only half full & i do not want to replace the bag until it is full (Miele bags are on the expensive side!)

Have you changed the filters?

Sounds like the charcoal filter needs replacing to me. I get mine off eBay.

Has been a while since i changed filters now that you mention it !! Thanks to you both, shall give it a try.
