DH and I have a difference of opinion as to what is involved.

So which of these things would you include:

  1. Removing plates and cutlery to dishwasher/sink.
  2. Removing glasses to dishwasher/sink.
  3. Removing condiments.
  4. Wiping up crumbs and spills.

1 & 2

& 3

I would say 1-4.

I can see a (probably male) argument for 1/1&2 but who would do the rest, the pixies? Grin

1,2,3 and 4

nancy75 · 26/07/2011 20:31

All of them plus clearing up the detritus under the table (we have small children) and putting the kettle on to make me a cuppa.

I'd do 1-4. DH would think only 1-2 applied.

Depending on the stage of the meal, any combination of them. If you're presuming this is at the end of the meal, then all four, plus perhaps putting any easy stuff straight into the dishwasher. (Though it wouldn't include doing all the dishes.)
