Fabric conditioner - v silly question

Sorry, I've never really used it before.

Where does it go? In my machine in the drawer I have a small compartment labelled I, a bigger compartment labelled II and a small lift up panel with a sort of flower symbol on it.

I'd go with the lift-up panel, and assume I is prewash and II is main wash. Do you put your detergent in the body of the machine then?

We have the same set-up.

I is prewash, II is main wash and the flowery little slot is for fabric conditioner.

Yes detergent in the drum so I don't really use the drawer.
