What temperature should my freezer be set to?

It goes from -14 to -21. What's optimal in terms of energy efficiency and storage?

mine is -18 - was recommended in the book that came with it

Mine is at -18 ATM too, 'cause that was the middle of the range. I suppose digging out the manual would be advisable but we've just moved and everything is upside down. No idea what temp it was at the old house.

most things should be stored at at least -18, so id vote -18 (or -19 but will use more energy and stuff like icecream might be too hard?)
