how can i make my washing smeoll nice?

Trying to save a bit of money we swapped to own brand washing powder, the only problem is it smells funny, it doesn't leave a lovley fragrence.

Is there anything I can do or do I just have to swap back?

use lidl's own brand liquid, it smells lovely and is cheap as chips.

Do you use fabric conditioner?

Is fabric conditioner like comfort? I don't use it unless on the baby's clothes.

I might have to visit lidil then.

Yes like comfort, but you can get own brand fabric conditioners in lots of different fragrances at less than £1 for a big bottle that lasts ages. I've always used own brand washing powder as Persil etc is so expensive, and the fabric conditioner makes it smell nice, and a bit softer too.
